If your dental benefits are based on a calendar year, and you have been contemplating your treatment before 2011 is over, this would be a great time to think about scheduling your appointment. All great minds think alike; so many patients will call to look for an appointment in December and then the schedule starts to bottleneck as it fills very quickly with patients who have the same thought!!!......"I need to use my benefits/flex dollars before the end of the year". Insurance will typically pay anywhere from $1000-$2000 per year. So for those of you that have significant treatment to be done and remaining benefits...don't let that $$$ go to waste!! Most patients have benefits that run on a calendar year, if you do, it may be wise to use whatever you have remaining this year and start with a fresh max for 2012. The same thing usually applies to HSAs and flex$$$....if you don't use it you lose it!!!
